SigmaMD is home base for your family’s care. It is where you:

Log in to SigmaMDSchedule your First Appointment
This is where we get to know each other. It can go either way:

A few forms will come to you in SigmaMD once your appointment is booked. Filling them out ahead of time means we are ready for your family when you arrive, and we spend the visit on your child instead of paperwork.
How to reach us
Message us on SigmaMD, and use the urgent flag
Messages are our main way of staying in touch, and they come straight to your pediatricians. Here is how to get the right response at the right time of day.
During the day
If you need a response within the hour, mark the message urgent. Everything else, send anytime. Non-urgent messages that come in after hours or on a weekend are answered the next business day.
In the evening
Most offices stop answering around 4:30. We check SigmaMD on and off all evening, because that is when kids actually get sick.
Between us, we have spent 25 years on call, and emergencies almost never start at 2 a.m. They start at 5 p.m. daycare pickup. At the 7 p.m. soccer game. With a vomit after dinner. With a kid who was sick-ish all day and is getting worse. Reach out then, and mark it urgent. Please do not wait to see how the night goes.
Overnight
We are asleep, and we do not answer overnight. In the middle of the night, a problem can either wait a few hours for us, or it needs the hospital.
If you need a doctor in the next 10 minutes
That is an emergency. Call 911 or go to the nearest emergency department.
We spend our days in the exam room with your kids, and we check messages between visits. That is what lets us give every family unhurried time, and it also means we cannot promise an answer within minutes. We are here for all of your child’s primary care, and the emergency team is there for the moments that cannot wait.

A few programs families are often glad to learn we offer.
ImPACT baseline concussion testing
A short computer-based test of memory, reaction time, and focus, taken while your child is healthy. If they ever hit their head, we compare how they are doing against their own baseline instead of a general average. Best done before the season starts.
Ouchless blood draws
When your child needs lab work, we do it here, planned around their comfort so it does not become the thing they dread.
Vaccines for the whole family
Vaccines are billed to insurance through our partner VaxCare, and most private plans are in network. Parents, grandparents, and caregivers are welcome at our flu and COVID clinics each fall.
Integrative Sports Program
An annual visit built for young athletes: lab work, heart screening, ImPACT baseline testing, a mental health check-in, and screening for under-fueling (known as RED-S), when an athlete is not eating enough to cover their training.
Complex care & precision medicine
For kids whose symptoms cross several specialties or who have not gotten a clear plan elsewhere. This program adds time and coordination beyond standard membership. Learn more
